Travelers is one to the largest P&C companies in the United States. Their size, however, hasn’t kept them from catering to the individual needs of customers. For personal lines, this means they have a product for just about everyone. They offer multiple lines of coverage including: Home, Condo, Coop, Renter, Auto, Umbrella, Yacht, etc. Additionally, they offer coverage for homes of average value to those valued over a million dollars. So with Travelers you can offer broad coverage for an established customer including his $1.5 million dollar home, Mercedes Benz, and valuable articles, as well as separate coverage for his child’s apartment and/or Honda.
While many companies require accounts and will not consider writing homes or autos separately, Travelers will consider monoline home and auto. Of course they do write entire accounts and they they do offer bundled discounts. Travelers is about flexibility and options. You can even place umbrellas over their auto product without having to write the home.
